Then, add 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce and the fried garlic. Toss in the carrots and broccoli stem, followed by the fish maw. If the dish seems dry, feel free to add more water, as fish maw tends to absorb the sauce.

Allow the ingredients to stew for an additional 2 to 3 minutes before adding the abalone. Cook on low heat for another 2 minutes. Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning with salt, light soy sauce, and a sprinkle of white pepper.
