Air fryers are a great cooking tool for people with busy schedules, because they allow you to cook fast and healthy. And with its compact design and convenient features, the air fryer can fit into the smallest of kitchens. It’s also ideal for those who want to lose weight and eat healthier. If you’re new to air frying or just want some tips on how long it takes to cook frozen french fries in an air fyer, here’s what I’ve learned from my own experience:
Preheat your air fyer.
- Preheat your air fyer.
- Preheat the fries for 5 minutes, or until they are hot and crispy.
Use a heating pad to preheat frozen fries.
To preheat your frozen fries, you can use a heating pad. Set the temperature of the heating pad to 200 degrees Fahrenheit and place your frozen fries on top of it. Let them sit for 30 minutes before removing them from the cooking device and patting them dry with a paper towel.
Pat the fries dry with a paper towel and put them in the air fyer basket.
Before you cook the fries, make sure they are as dry as possible. A sponge or cloth can leave behind moisture and make your air fryer’s temperature fluctuate. Instead, pat them dry with a paper towel and then add them to the basket of your air fryer (if it has one).
You can cook frozen fries in an air fryer, but it’ll take time.
As you can imagine, fries that are already frozen will take longer to cook than fresh ones. You may also want to preheat your air fryer before adding them in order to speed up the process. If you don’t have time for this step, pat your frozen fries dry with a paper towel and then place them directly into the basket (no need for oil).
Cooking frozen fries in an air fryer is possible, but it takes time. If you’re looking for crispy fries right away, we recommend heating them up on the stovetop first before putting them into the air fryer. This will help them cook faster and more evenly than if they were just placed directly into the basket without being preheated first.
